Kombat Sports Kalayaan (KSK) brings the largest MMA Festival this summer on April 28, Poblacion, Makati City.
The highly anticipated event will spotlight Asian MMA superstar, sambist, model, actor and Fil-Am Mark Edward "Mugen" Martinez Striegl in the Grappling Super Fight event. He will be up against BJJ Brown Belt from Bacolod, Paige Alitao.
Another BJJ Brown Belt and WFP Bantamweight Champion Godwin Langbayan will fight against a Professional MMA Fighter our of Singapore, ranked #47 in the Professional Men's Flyweight in Asia Southeast, Sim Khai Xiong in a KSK MMA Championship match.
Other featured fighters are Elorde Sandigon versus Andrianawan Dharmita, Joemar Gallaza versus Robertson Abion.
Cyren Seno, a youth and sports advocate and the owner of KSK Gym, who spearheads the event, says. " The event aims to develop and strengthen the Filipino MMA atletes by creating an impartial platform for such competition."
"Also to promote and establish further the local MMA community by involving international Filipino players to be back in the local scene, And also create an opportunity or strategic events that could attract foreign and local audiences to come and visit the country."
The festival is expected to draw an estimated thousand or more crowd both from the MMA community and weekend partygoers in Poblacion, local and foreigners alike. It will be a party like no other where it gathers people from all walks of life and sports as its focal point.
The KSK MMA Festival takes pride in a whole-day event. It will also showcase a more festive mood through a street party in the whole stretch of Poblacion, and some of the restaurant owners will be participating in other matches.
