"I HEART PH" finds new home on GTV

Lifestyle and travel show "I HEART PH" continues to spread good vibes on its new home, GMA network.

Hosted by Valerie Tan, the magazine show has been consistently uplifting the image of the Philippines and the Filipinos - showcasing the country's scenic spots. True to its core, the program promotes love and appreciation of our country, helping the government to amplify its tourism campaign, "Love the Philippines!"

"Our country is blessed with amazingly beautiful natural resources and environment," shares TV8 Media Business Unit Head Vanessa Verzosa. "That's why we never run out of features. There are still more beautiful places that have never been featured in the mainstream media. And we want to showcase them through our program."

Verzosa adds that the magazine show continues to deliver its promise by showcasing inspiring stories and aspirational features on its new season. "I Heart Ph" enables to inspire more viewers across the country given the nationwide reach of GMA network.

Meanwhile, Valerie beams with excitement as she comes full circle of her TV hosting career. It can be recalled that her TV hosting started when she won in the talent reality search "May Trabaho Ka" (as winner of its search for public affairs host edition) aired on GMA Network's channel QTV (now GTV). Today, her own magazine show is seen on GTV.

"I will be forever grateful to GMA," claims Valerie. "The network paved the way to my dream job as I get to do what I love since I was a kid. Now, I get to travel around, seeing beautiful places and meeting people from all walks of life connecting with them, and sharing their stories to our viewers."

According to Valerie, the magazine show will take us to more amazing places. She can't wait to share her new discoveries in Bohol with the viewers. The island province is famous Chocolate Hills, Tarsiers, heritage sites, old stone churches and other natural and made wonders.

"Bohol is just one of our initial features; more scenic spots are on our list," Valerie adds. "But more than the physical beauty, the true wealth of our country is us - the Filipino people I truly enjoy hearing different stories of struggles and triumphs that are uniquely Pinoy."

"I Heart Ph" is not just about travel; it's all about the Pinoy lifestyle. For this new season, the magazine focuses on one of human's basic necessities - shelter. Apparently, this is also one of the country's major social issues. Fact is, the Philippines is in the "Top 10 countries with the most number of homeless people in the world for 2024" based on data from the Organization for Economic Development (OECD).

"Our show will not delve into political and social issues", explains "I Heart Ph" director Jallawee Beritan. "Still, our commitment is to showcase world-class visual narratives to our viewers that do not only feed their senses but their soul."

The magazine show will feature homes, giving viewers inspirations and motivations to build or improve their own homes. From do-it-yourself (DIY) furnishings to house repairs, Valerie gets to explore home ideas, interior designs and other topics every episode. Additionally, "I Heart Ph" invites architects, interior designers and other influencers to make the whole discussions more insightful and inspiring.

"Our goal is very clear. To share good vibes and inspire our viewers with our feel-good show, 'I Heart Ph'," says Valerie.

Through the years, the show has gained the trust and support of big and small companies, global and local brands as well as famous and ordinary personalities in sharing their stories.

Now on GMA, "I Heart Ph", produced by TV8 Media, is here to stay in the heart of our Filipino viewers, igniting Filipinos' love for the country.

Catch "I Heart Ph" every Sunday at 10 am on GTV.
