Globe prepares for restoration efforts as power failure causes network outages in several sites due to ‘Kristine’

Commercial power failure due to Tropical Storm Kristine has caused network outages in 21 provinces in Southern Luzon and Visayas, with Globe ready to deploy teams for immediate restoration efforts once conditions on the ground improve.

In Southern Luzon, less than 13% of sites were affected by outages, while about 7% were affected across Visayas. Network and core services are operational in the majority of sites, and Globe assures customers that it would prioritize restoration efforts at the soonest possible time.
