PIXEL Pod by Eplayment is laying bare the reality of content creation

At a time when connecting to the world is as easy as reaching for your electronic devices, a booming economy of creators and consumers has developed over the years. Content creation and influencers have taken center stage. And while the creator economy is accessible, breaking through the industry is a much bigger feat. Fintech company Eplayment knows this best, and two years after the launch of its content aggregation platform, PIXEL, the mission of helping budding creators hone their craft is as apparent as ever.

Let Perez, known as Queen Wasabi to her audience, sits down with guest creators for the second season of PIXEL Pod, spotlighting the nitty-gritty details of content creation and the work that comes with it. PIXEL Pod is a monthly podcast produced by Eplayment and is an avenue for creators, by creators.

Season 1 of the podcast launched last year, with its pilot episode titled “Content Creation: More Than Just A Hobby”. Since then, the PIXEL Pod has released 15 episodes in total, with each tackling topics ranging from content creation basics to critiques of certain social media trends. The podcast is meant to be a casual sit-down with its previous two hosts, Let and Andie, a safe space for content creators to hear firsthand from fellow seasoned creators how it is to operate within the creator economy.

For the second season, PIXEL Pod, now headed by Queen Wasabi alone, takes things into a another direction. A different guest creator will be featured per episode, touching on various aspects of content creation and the often unseen work that goes behind it.

Episodes are now also divided into three new segments: “Dear PIXEL”, “Ask Ely & Echo”, and a giveaway at the end. “Dear PIXEL” welcomes PIXEL users to write to the podcast about anything and everything under the sun, and its contents will be discussed by the host and guest creator. “Ask Ely & Echo” is a Q&A segment, named after Eplayment’s mascots, Ely and Echo. PIXEL users send their questions about content creation to Ely and Echo’s PIXEL account, which are then tackled during the episode. Lastly, an episode-specific giveaway wraps the program up. Listeners are invited to answer a question relating to the present episode’s topic, and if they get it right, they receive prizes.

True to their promise of delivering real stories and anecdotes from creators, PIXEL Pod has already produced two new episodes for this season: “Shoutout To The Crew: The Unsung Heroes of Content” and “The Mod Squad: Trusting Your Community With Power”.

“The PIXEL Pod was created with our community of creators in mind,” Eplayment CEO Karlos Naidas explained. “We wanted PIXEL to be more than a tool that creators can use, but a place where they can gather resources for content creation and build communities of their own. The podcast is another way we can do just that.”

Following the success of PIXEL Academy, a series of content creation workshops for the PIXEL community, Eplayment is determined to continue bringing its user base together with what they have in store for the rest of the year.

“2025 was a great year for building up what we already started,” Naidas added. “PIXEL Academy was a highlight in our year, and we plan to close out the rest of the last quarter just as strongly. It always comes back to the community and how we can help them carve out their creator journey.”

For Eplayment and PIXEL, content creation is more than pressing record and publishing content; it’s a process that spans before and after a post goes live. Through this podcast and their other creator-centered initiatives, Eplayment and PIXEL are dedicated to giving back to the community they have built over the years.
